Because my hours got cut, I need a hobby. I run or walk everyday, but still that's only an hour. I'm thinking about starting a little flower or herb garden. That will get me outside. I read. But I still find myself bored a lot. I always loved cooking and baking, but I don't have a lot of people to share the food with because it's just me and mom since dad works away. But, I started baking and cooking a lot. And I'll just bring treats over to family and friends. I mostly use HG books. Those books have everything I would want. But I change them sometimes. Eventually maybe I'll start coming up with my own recipes.
What I learned so far:
I love eggplant! Why didn't I eat it before?
I always knew I loved zucchini, but so many ways to cook it.
Sweets don't always have to be fattening!
Cake doesn't have to be fattening.
Frozen veggies work just as well.
Pumpkin, apple sauce, and cherries are good for mixing.
Healthy food can taste good and doesn't have to be vegetarian.
I can cook meat even if I don't eat it.
I'm much happier when I'm doing something and keeping busy. I'm working on sorting my stuff for the move and cleaning the house for when it gets redone. Also updating my portfolio and hoping for interviews! Trying to keep myself busy rather than spending all my time in front of the computer and TV.

Yum!
Book Two: Coco Monkey Oatmeal - I made this a few times! It's always good. Tastes like a dessert, but it's breakfast. Plenty of fiber and get a serving of fruit (banana in it!) Yummm!!!
Book Three: The Rat(atouille) Pack - Made this today for supper. Delicious! It wasn't too hard to make and pretty tasty!
I pre-ordered the new HG Book. Can't wait for it to come!

New HG!
A new HG book is coming out. Can't wait to get it. It's a cocktail book. I don't drink often, but it'll be nice to make these when I go out or at family gatherings. Or even in mocktail form.
I'm trying to get off my arse and run today. I've been doing really well with tracking this week. Not so much the right choices, but seeing it written down, definitely helps. I lost 2.6 lbs this week, but I was hungover when I went to my WW meeting. So it's probably a combo of running and throwing up that morning, lol. But, still, I needed to let loose a bit. I've been stressed and just wanting to have some fun.
Cheery Cherry Cobbler in HG 1. I made that yesterday. Well...sorta. Peaches were on sale so I made it with peaches. It was really good. Peaches were a little overcooked, but I think it's because peaches may not have to cook as long as cherries. I'm going to try this with cherries soon though.
One thing we've been doing at WW is passing around a magic journal. There's 2 journals going around. It's called the magic journal because it helps people see what others have done and the losses they have. I took it last week which I contribute to my loss I had. I wrote down everything. Even if it wasn't the best choices. But I was accountable for everything. I mostly wanted to get back into tracking. And it forced me to track because someone else is going to have this and I have to keep the magic going. So on my 3 month journal, I wrote on it...Magic Journal. I am going to keep the magic with me.

So far...
Training is going pretty good so far. Though I almost broke my foot in a non related running fall. I'm trying really hard to get back on track with my eating. I took the "Magic Journal" from WW this week, so I'm hoping it will help. I have been tracking everyday this week so far so that's a bonus.
I made a cute little tasty dessert called BFFs from HG 3. Tasty and great. I also made scones I think from HG2 for my mom. She likes them. And I made these oatmeal peanut butter cookies in HG3 (I think), but I added chocolate chips. I really enjoyed them and will make them again.
I'm not sleeping again...I have a doctor's appointment on the 9th, so I'm going to talk to him about it and a few other things. But hopefully, the sleeping problem will be fixed. I haven't had a full night sleep in ages...some nights I sleep better than others. But usually I'm tossing and turning and waking up throughout the night.
I found these great vegetarian chicken breasts. So good. I also found yolk-less pasta, which is lower in fat and points. I need to get my eating back on track. I'm having such a hard time with it. I need my motivation back again...I just don't know where it went or how to get it back :S
